How South Florida Creates Space for Both Drive and Clarity

There’s something about South Florida that creates a unique rhythm. It’s fast-paced, ambitious, and at times chaotic, especially when you’re sitting in traffic on a busy afternoon. But that same energy is what makes it such an incredible place to live, work, and build something meaningful.

Recently, I spent an evening at a Porsche meetup in Boca Raton with my business partner at Casa de Montecristo. It was one of those nights that reminded me why I enjoy living and working here.

More Than Cars

South Florida has no shortage of car meetups. Whether it’s Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, or classic cars, there’s always something happening. For me, cars and cigars have always been easy conversation starters. You can sit down with someone you’ve never met, light a cigar, talk about what you’re driving, and before you know it, you’re discussing business, real estate, or life in general. It’s relaxed, it’s genuine, and it’s how a lot of meaningful connections are made down here.

I’ve always been a car person. Over the years, I’ve owned a range of different styles, each one offering something unique. Right now, I’m driving a Porsche GT4 RS, and it’s an entirely different experience. The performance, the sound, the precision, it all comes together in a way that makes driving feel intentional again. And that’s what I appreciate most.

In the middle of the constant movement that comes with South Florida, getting behind the wheel becomes a bit of an escape. It’s a chance to step away from the traffic, the noise, and the day-to-day pace, and just enjoy the drive. No meetings, no distractions, just a road, a machine, and a clear head.
